Delete your MyMangaLists account

MyMangaLists is published on Google Play by NextGen Vibes. This page explains how to delete your account and associated personal data from the app.

How to request account deletion (in the app)

Account deletion is performed inside the MyMangaLists app. You do not need a web form.

1. Open the MyMangaLists app and sign in.
2. Go to Settings (profile / Me tab).
3. Scroll to Delete My Account.
4. When prompted, type Confirm exactly as shown.
5. Complete the security verification step.
6. Your account will be deleted and you will be signed out.

If you cannot access the app

Email [email protected] (support email shown on our Google Play listing) from the same email address linked to your account. Include your username and a clear request to delete your account. We may ask for additional information to verify ownership.

Data that is deleted

When your account is deleted, we remove or disassociate data tied to your user ID, including:

• Account profile (username, email, password credentials, profile settings)
• Lists, playlists, and playlist relations
• Comments, reviews, page relations, and likes/dislikes
• Watch lists / progress and friend connections
• Private messages and reports you submitted
• Profile and banner images stored for your account

Data that may be kept

• A minimal archived record of the deleted account may be retained internally for abuse prevention, legal compliance, or dispute resolution.
• Anonymized or aggregated analytics data that cannot reasonably identify you may be retained.
• Data handled by third-party services (for example Google Play Services, AdMob, Firebase Analytics, or Crashlytics) is subject to those providers' policies. See our Privacy Policy.

Retention period

Primary account data is removed when deletion completes in the app. Any archived deletion records and backups are purged on a rolling basis, typically within 90 days, unless a longer period is required by law or for active abuse investigations.
